Thong Sarath's wife, brother released

PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- Wife and brother of tycoon Thong Sarath who is the main suspect in tycoon Ung Meng Cheu’s death were released after being questioned on Sunday.

The court said that Thong Sarath's wife, Teav Thida and brother, Thong Bona, were not linked to the death of Ung Meng Cheu who was gunned down last month in the center of Phnom Penh.

They were arrested on Wednesday when police raided a villa in Chak Angre Krom commune.

But Thong Chamroeun and Keo Sary who are father and mother of fugitive Thong Sarath haven't yet been released. Phnom  Penh Municipal Court is resuming further questioning them.
