Four Ministers to answer orally to NA's commission members over performance
PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- Four Ministers have been summoned to answer orally to members of the National Assembly's third and seventh commissions this month over their position fulfillment.As scheduled, on November 19 Tourism Minister Thong Khon will meet with members of Commission on Education, Youth, Sport, Religious Affairs, Culture and Tourism, while Culture Minister Phoeung Sackona will orally answer to the same commission on November 26.
Environment Minister Say Sam Al and Agriculture Minister Ouk Rabun will meet with members of Commission on Planning, Investment, Agriculture, Rural Development, Environment and Water Resources on November 24 and November 27, respectively.
Opposition lawmaker Pol Horm, president of the Commission on Planning, Investment, Agriculture, Rural Development, Environment and Water Resources, said that they summoned Environment Minister to answer over his ministry management, environment issues in Phnom Penh capital and in Areng area, deforestation, and other main issues.
CNRP's lawmaker Yem Ponharith, president of Commission on Education, Youth, Sport, Religious Affairs, Culture and Tourism, said Tourism Minister will answer over the tourism sector management plan and its income and expense as well as other related issues.
He added that Phoeung Sackona will orally answer over culture plans.
